Michael Yehl became an unwed father in 1987. Deciding not to marry, he took on a role of a single father. Down right angry and resistant of parenthood, it took Mike a trip to the hospital to see his 3 month old son lying in a bed full of tubes to realize he needed to be a dad to his son. It was not easy and made a lot of mistakes; but he also had many triumphs!
Years later, he is sharing his years of research, life lessons and personal experiences to help single dads be the best parent they can be inspite of the circumstances. "Parenting is not an option"; however, circumstances can mold our choices that are not good for your children and/or your relationship with your children.
He has spoken to single dads, divorced parents, schools, church groups and other forums to help bring his message to single dads, teachers or anyone who works with children.
